Gate A-side in T1, Naseef is your hot-meal option
Naseef Restaurant sits airside in Terminal 1 at Bahrain International Airport, a few minutes’ walk from the A-gates. It’s one of the few sit-down spots in BAH where you can get a full plate of Bahraini and regional dishes instead of just sandwiches. Expect mains in the 4–7 BHD range, with simple rice-and-grill plates running a bit cheaper than seafood.
The menu leans Middle Eastern: think grilled chicken or lamb with rice, kebabs, and basic curries, plus the usual airport drinks and soft drinks. Portions run on the generous side for an airport, so a single main around 5 BHD usually covers a full meal. Service is table-style, not counter-only, so budget at least 40–50 minutes if you want to sit, order, eat, and still walk to a T1 gate without stress.
Naseef opens in the morning and runs through late evening in Terminal 1, matching most long-haul departure banks. You’ll find typical breakfast plates early in the day, then a switch to grills and curries by lunchtime. Cards are accepted, and prices are listed in BHD with tax included, so a 6 BHD total is exactly what hits your statement, before tip.
This is not a bar; alcohol isn’t on the menu, so expect tea, coffee, juices, and sodas only. If you just want a quick tea or Arabic coffee before a Gulf Air flight out of T1, staff are usually fine with you taking a small table and ordering light. For anything under a 45-minute layover, grab-and-go elsewhere in T1 is safer than a full sit-down meal here.
Tip: check your gate first on the terminal screens near Naseef; some remote bus gates in T1 add a 10–15 minute walk and can eat into your meal time fast.
