Gate-side burgers in T1

Just past security in Terminal T1, McDonald’s is the most recognizable international chain in this part of Antalya Airport. It sits in the main departures hall, so you can walk here from any T1 gate in under 5–7 minutes if you’re not stopping at other duty-free shops.

Hours tend to track flight banks, with early opening around the first morning departures and closing near the last late-night flights out of T1. If you’re on an early Pegasus or SunExpress departure before 07:00, this is one of the few spots likely to have hot food ready.

Menu is the standard McDonald’s mix: Big Mac, cheeseburgers, fries, Chicken McNuggets, plus local twists that rotate seasonally. Expect airport pricing: a basic burger meal usually runs more than downtown Antalya, with combo prices generally sitting in the mid-range for T1 fast food. Card payments, including major international cards, are accepted at the counter.

Seating is shared with nearby T1 food court tables, so during peak holiday flights to the UK and Germany the area fills quickly and you might wait 5–10 minutes for a seat. If you just need a quick bite before boarding, grab a takeaway bag and eat at the gate; most T1 gates are within a 3–10 minute walk.

Food comes out fast by airport standards, but lines spike when several charter flights board within the same 30-minute window. If your boarding time is in 20 minutes or less, stick to fries, nuggets, or a basic cheeseburger instead of more customized orders.

Tip: Hit McDonald’s before walking all the way to the high-number T1 gates; it’s closer to the center of the terminal than to the remote ends, and backtracking can add an extra 10 minutes round-trip.
