It suits quick airport runs, same-day returns, or an overnight trip out of AYT more than a two-week holiday. If you’re leaving the car for several days or more, compare against the longer-term lots, which often work out cheaper per day.

The car park sits on the airport grounds, in front of the main terminal area, so there’s no shuttle bus and no extra transfer time to factor in beyond the five-minute walk. That walk is on standard airport roads and pavements, so rolling luggage is fine, but plan a couple of extra minutes if you’re travelling with kids or heavy bags.

Payment usually runs through the on-site machines and exit barriers, with prices posted at the car park entrance and at pay stations. Keep your entry ticket dry and accessible; losing it can trigger the maximum daily charge, which adds up quickly at short-stay rates. Have a backup bank card ready in case one network is down.

One practical tip: snap a photo of your parking row and the nearest terminal sign when you lock the car. After a late return into T1, T2 or T3, that quick photo saves a lot of wandering around similar-looking lanes in the dark.
