Economy Parking Lot

Long stay

Daily rates here undercut the main terminal garages by a lot

The Economy Parking Lot at Antalya Airport is the long-stay option for T1, T2 and T3, aimed at trips lasting several days or more. It uses open-air surface spaces instead of a multi-storey structure, which keeps prices lower than the terminal-side car parks. If you’re leaving the car for 3–14 days, this is usually the cheapest airport-run choice.

This lot sits on the airport road network serving T1, T2 and T3, so you’ll still be parking on official airport grounds, not in an off-site field. Signage on approach roads points you to the “Economy” or “Long Stay” area; follow those instead of the general “Parking” arrows that feed into the premium decks by the terminals. Paying for the ticket happens at marked pay machines near the pedestrian exits before you drive out.

Security is basic but present: fenced perimeter, lighting columns across the lanes, and regular patrols tied into the main Antalya Airport security operation. You keep your keys and park your own car, unlike some off-airport valet lots around AYT. That means no extra handling, but also no help shuttling luggage, so pack with a 5–10 minute walk in mind.

There’s no dedicated covered section here, so in July and August Antalya sun hits full force on the cars for 8–10 hours daily. In winter, overnight lows can drop near freezing, so plan for windscreen frost on early departures. If you care about cabin temperature, bring a reflective sunshade and avoid leaving electronics on seats.

There’s usually a marked pedestrian route from the Economy Parking Lot toward the terminal forecourts, taking around 8–15 minutes on foot depending on which terminal you use. If you’re flying out of T1 with heavy bags or kids, add at least 20 minutes buffer from car door to check-in desk, especially in peak summer traffic when the forecourt crossings slow you down.

Practical tip: Screenshot your exact row or drop a pin in your maps app the moment you park; after 7–10 days away, the open layout and similar-looking lanes make it surprisingly easy to lose track of the car.
