Gate 3 in Terminal 1 is where you’ll see The Goods@AVL
This small shop sits airside in AVL’s single concourse near Gate 3, so you hit it after security. It runs on typical airport hours, roughly from the first departures around 4:30–5:00 a.m. until the last evening flights. Expect standard airport pricing: bottled drinks in the $3–$5 range and snacks mostly between $2 and $8.
The Goods@AVL stocks grab-and-go basics for short regional hops out of Asheville Regional Airport. You’ll find packaged sandwiches, chips, candy bars, and breakfast bars that work for a 45-minute leg on American, Delta, or United. There’s a small cooler with yogurt and simple salads, and a decent shelf of travel-sized toiletries if something got left at home.
Coffee and cold drinks are the main draw before those 6:00–7:00 a.m. departures. Expect canned cold brew, bottled iced coffee, and the usual lineup of sodas, juices, and water. Beer is available in single cans or bottles for those late-afternoon flights, often including at least one North Carolina label at around $8–$10.
There’s a rack with Asheville souvenirs: T‑shirts printed with “AVL,” Black Mountain and Blue Ridge magnets, and local postcards, generally in the $3–$25 range. Basic phone chargers, headphones, and charging cables are on a small electronics wall, which can save a trip back landside if you realize at Gate 4 that your Lightning cable is missing.
Plan one stop: hit The Goods@AVL right after security so you’re not stuck in line here when boarding for your 30–40 minute regional flight starts.
