Gate-side Asian fast food in Terminal A

Patamar To Go sits airside in Terminal A at Zayed International Airport, and it’s one of the few quick Asian options in this part of the terminal. It runs as a fast-food counter, not a sit-down spot, so you can order, grab a tray or bag, and be back at your gate in under 10–15 minutes if lines are short. Expect basic combo-style dishes rather than chef-driven specials.

Price-wise, Patamar To Go sits in the airport’s lowest bracket, roughly the $ tier. Mains typically land in the budget range compared with other Terminal A outlets, so it’s a straightforward choice if you’re trying to keep a 25–30 AED snack or simple meal from turning into a 60 AED sit-down bill. Portions skew more “quick bite before boarding” than big family meal.

The menu leans Asian fast food: think noodles, rice bowls, and stir-fry style dishes cooked ahead and held on the line. Expect chicken and vegetable options more than beef or seafood, with sauces on the sweeter and milder side rather than chili-heavy. Drinks follow the usual airport pattern: bottled water, soft drinks, and maybe a canned iced tea or juice instead of specialty coffees.

Because there’s no table service, food usually moves quickly, even at busy times around late-evening long-haul departures from Terminal A. Most people order to go and eat at nearby gates or at the generic seating about 30–50 meters from the counter. If your flight boards from the far end of A, build in a 5–10 minute walk after you pick up your food.

Best move: decide on a noodle or rice bowl while you’re still walking past nearby stands, then head straight to the counter and order without browsing. That keeps the stop under 10 minutes and leaves you more buffer for boarding checks at your A-gate.
