A $$$$

Gate A side in Terminal A, Patamar covers the Asian slot.

Patamar sits post-security in Terminal A, so you’re fine staying airside after an Etihad check-in. It runs standard terminal hours that roughly track the long-haul banks, so late-night and early-morning options are usually on. Expect mid-range pricing: mains tend to land in the $14–$22 range, with starters under $10.

The menu leans pan-Asian: think noodle bowls, stir-fries, fried rice, and a few curry-style dishes, rather than one specific regional cuisine. You’ll usually find at least one veg main and a couple of seafood choices, plus chicken-heavy options that travel well. Portions are airport-sized, so a single main is enough pre-boarding unless you skipped the last meal entirely.

Service runs on typical Terminal A timing: plan on 40–60 minutes for a sit-down meal from host stand to payment if the bank of Etihad departures is in full swing. If you’re under 45 minutes to boarding from the A-gates, ask directly for "quick dishes" like fried rice or stir-fried noodles; anything that sounds grilled or slow-cooked tends to lag during peak waves.

Figure on soft drinks in the $4–$6 band and tea or coffee close to $5. If you want something lighter before a 7–8 hour flight, share a starter plus one noodle bowl instead of ordering two full mains; staff are usually fine bringing an extra plate so you can split.

Last call can come 45–60 minutes before some late departures, especially around the 01:00–03:00 Etihad pushes, so don’t assume you can walk in right before boarding. Tip: grab a seat closer to the front of the dining area with a clear sightline to the Terminal A flight boards so you can watch your gate while you eat.
