Daily rates stay lower at North Economy Parking than the North Deck
North Economy Parking sits by the Domestic terminal’s North side and runs as Atlanta’s budget option compared with the main North Parking Deck. You still park in a structured lot, just farther from the terminal doors than hourly or daily parking. This lot is signed clearly as “North Economy” when you follow airport roadway signs for Domestic North.
This is a long-term economy lot with a daily rate that undercuts the closer hourly and daily decks at ATL by several dollars per calendar day. It’s aimed at trips lasting more than 24 hours rather than quick drop-offs or same-day meetings. You pull a ticket at the gate on entry and pay the exact number of days on exit, calculated per day, not per hour.
North Economy serves the Domestic terminal, which handles Delta, Southwest, Spirit, Frontier, and other domestic carriers on concourses T, A, B, C, D, and part of E. From the lot, you walk or take a short curbside shuttle toward the Domestic North check-in side, then ride the Plane Train to your concourse. You do not use this lot for the International terminal F entrance on the east side of the airfield.
The walk from the far end of North Economy to the Domestic North doors can run around 8–12 minutes with luggage, depending on where you find a space. Elevators and stairs connect each parking level to ground transport, and the rows are numbered and lettered to match floor and section so you can snap a photo and find your car after a week away.
Give yourself at least 30 extra minutes beyond your usual ATL arrival time when using North Economy Parking, especially at morning peaks before 9 a.m. That buffer covers hunting for a space, walking in, and clearing security at Domestic North or South before riding the Plane Train to your gate.
