Accessible spaces sit directly next to the ASE terminal
At Aspen–Pitkin County Airport (ASE), accessible parking sits right next to the terminal entrance, so you’re only a short roll or walk from the check-in area. The lot is small and close-in, which matches the compact layout of this mountain airport and keeps the distance from car to door to well under a couple of minutes for most people.
Accessible parking at ASE is in the same terminal-side area used for short-term parking, not in a remote or shuttle-only lot. That means no extra transfer, no lift-equipped shuttle to wait for, and no separate drop-off zone far from the doors. If you’re traveling with mobility devices or heavy ski gear, being in the terminal-adjacent section helps keep loading and unloading simple.
Standard airport rules apply: marked accessible spaces are reserved for vehicles with valid disability placards or plates, and local enforcement at ASE does ticket violators in these signed spots by the terminal curb area. Because the terminal footprint is small, the number of accessible spaces is limited, so arriving 60–90 minutes before your flight time is smart if you want those next-to-door bays.
There’s no dedicated pay booth in the accessible section; payment for accessible spaces follows the same process as the rest of the terminal lot, using posted machines or exit readers near the front of the lot. If you travel with someone else, have them drop you at the terminal doors first, then circle back to park in an accessible space next to the building so the person handling parking isn’t rushing.
