Gate-side in T5, Marketplace keeps 05.00–21.00 hours daily

Right in Terminal 5, Marketplace fills the basic “I forgot something” gap between security and the main gates. It sits in the central shopping stretch, so you pass it on most SAS and other non-Schengen T5 departures. Doors open at 05.00 and shut at 21.00, which covers the bulk of ARN’s morning and evening banks.

This is a straight travel-essentials shop: charging cables, EU adapters, basic headphones, neck pillows, eye masks, and a tight shelf of over-the-counter painkillers and cold meds. Prices run high even by Swedish standards; expect to pay 20–30% more for things like power banks than in Stockholm city, but it beats boarding with a dead phone on a 3‑hour flight.

Marketplace also carries last-minute toiletries and hygiene items in travel sizes, plus simple stationery, pens, and tape for fixing torn luggage tags. Snacks lean towards standard packaged options rather than fresh food, so treat it as a backup, not your main meal stop. If you just need a 100 ml toothpaste or deodorant after security takes your tube, this is the quickest solve in T5.

Card and contactless payments are the norm here, including foreign cards and mobile wallets, and you’re post-security so you don’t have to budget extra time to reach your gate. Tip: do a quick sweep of your cables and liquids at home; use Marketplace in Terminal 5 only for genuine last-minute gaps, not planned shopping.
