5-minute walk from Terminal 5, fully indoor parking
Express indoor P53 sits about a 5-minute walk from Stockholm Arlanda Terminal 5, so you’re on foot instead of waiting for a shuttle. It’s a covered, multi-storey facility, useful in winter when ARN drops below 0°C and you don’t want to dig your car out of snow. You park your own car, keep your keys, and walk straight to terminal doors.
This is an official Arlanda option in the P-area closest to Terminal 5. The walk is roughly 400–500 meters, depending on which level you park on. If you’re flying SAS or most Star Alliance carriers out of Terminal 5, the route is straightforward: follow signs for P53, then the pedestrian path to departures. For Terminal 4, expect a few extra minutes as you cut across toward that building.
Pricing sits above the outdoor economy fields like P1–P4 but below the terminal-front premium spots. You pay per calendar day; short trips of 1–3 days feel most cost-effective here, though longer stays up to a week still come out cheaper than some curbside options. Pre-booking online can shave a noticeable amount off drive-up rates, especially during school holidays in Sweden.
Access is 24/7, which helps for early 06:00 departures and late arrivals after 23:00 at ARN. Entry and exit are barrier-controlled with license plate recognition or QR codes from your booking confirmation. Lifts bring you from higher levels down to the ground, which matters if you’re hauling two 23 kg checked bags and a stroller.
There’s no valet, car wash, or charging bank dedicated to P53, so EV drivers who need a full charge before driving toward Uppsala or Stockholm should look up Arlanda’s specific charging zones. Mark your level and section in your phone; P53 can feel like a maze when you land at 23:45 and just want to get on the E4.
