Marked accessible bays sit directly next to AQP T1
Accessible Parking at Rodríguez Ballón International Airport (AQP) sits right beside the T1 terminal building, so you roll straight from the car to the entrance in a couple of minutes. Bays are clearly signed as accessible, making them easy to spot as you pull into the main terminal parking area.
The spaces sit on the same level as the T1 departures and arrivals doors, so you avoid ramps, elevators, or long walks. That matters at AQP, where curbside drop-off can get busy during morning bank departures between roughly 05:00 and 09:00.
Accessible bays share the same operating hours as the main terminal car park, which is open 24 hours a day to match early-morning departures and late-night arrivals. If your flight from Lima lands close to midnight, your car is still right there beside the terminal doors.
Payment uses the standard Rodríguez Ballón parking system, with hourly and daily rates posted at the entrance gate to the T1 parking lot. There is no separate ticket machine just for accessible bays; you take a normal ticket when entering and pay at the regular machines before driving out.
The accessible section sits within sight of the terminal security checkpoints, so you can drop mobility equipment at the car and still be at airline check-in desks within minutes. This is handy for regional flights on LATAM or Sky Airline, which typically check in on the ground floor of T1.
Practical tip: spaces nearest the terminal fill first, so if you need an accessible bay right beside the T1 entrance, aim to arrive at least 2 hours before departure during the morning rush.
