Forget-Me-Not Finer Things

Gate-side gift shop with Alaskan flair

This small Forget-Me-Not Finer Things shop sits airside at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, serving travelers in the South Terminal concourses looking for last-minute gifts before boarding. You’ll see it near other souvenir-focused storefronts, heavy on Alaska logos and local imagery. Expect a tight footprint, more like a hallway shop than a full boutique, so it’s a quick in-and-out stop rather than a long browse.

Most items sit in the mid-range price band, with typical logo mugs around $12–$18 and T‑shirts often tagged between $20–$30. Kids’ plush wildlife and keychains usually run under $15, which helps if you’re buying for multiple people. Compared with the big general newsstands in the South Terminal, this shop skews more toward giftable pieces than snacks or travel essentials.

Forget-Me-Not Finer Things carries the usual Anchorage airport hits: Alaska-themed apparel, magnets, local-made soaps, and printed artwork featuring Denali and the Northern Lights. Inventory leans heavily on seasonal stock, so June–August tends to show more summer landscapes and cruise-focused souvenirs, while winter months bring in Aurora and Iditarod-themed items. You won’t find electronics or chargers here; that’s what the larger travel stores near the main security checkpoint handle.

Figure 5–10 minutes to scan the shelves and pick something up before your flight from the South Terminal gates. If you’re tight on time, walk in with a specific target—one shirt, one mug, or a single small gift—and head straight for those sections instead of looping the whole store.
