South Terminal – Short-Term Parking Garage sits directly next to the South Terminal at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, and the walk to check-in is about 2 minutes under cover. This is the closest car-to-counter option on the South side of ANC, so you stay out of snow, rain, and ice almost the entire way.

Rates run $16.00 per day, making this garage a short-stay play rather than a long-term bargain. For same-day business trips, quick pickups, or drop-offs that might stretch longer than the hourly lot, the daily maximum is still reasonable compared with off-airport parking plus shuttle time.

The airport’s parking operator caps stays here at 15 days. Even if you find open spaces, this garage is not a true long-term option for multi-week vacations or seasonal work trips out of Anchorage. If your itinerary runs longer than two weeks, plan on a different ANC lot or an off-airport lot that explicitly allows extended stays.

Another hard rule: no vehicles over 25 feet and no trailers in the South Terminal short-term garage. Larger RVs, trucks with long trailers, or combo rigs will get turned away, and that surprise at the entry gate can burn precious departure time. If your setup is close to that 25-foot limit, measure it before you roll toward the ramp.

Everything here is post-entry and pay-on-exit, run by Republic Parking for ANC, so keep your ticket dry if you’re parking during a storm. Lanes can back up a bit around evening bank departures, especially when multiple flights leave the South Terminal between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.
