There is no Era Alaska Lounge at ANC
Despite the name showing up on some older lists, there is no separate Era Alaska Lounge in the South Terminal at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. Era Air operations rolled into Ravn Alaska years ago, and regional passengers now use the standard South Terminal concourse like everyone else flying in-state from ANC.
Era/Ravn flights run from the South Terminal regional area, and check-in desks sit alongside other local carriers on the departures level. Security for these gates is the same TSA checkpoint used by other South Terminal traffic, so factor in at least 20–30 minutes at peak hours instead of relying on priority-lane access via a lounge that doesn’t exist.
Post-security in the South Terminal, you’re looking at regular seating clusters near the regional gates, plus a few power outlets per row of seats in the newer sections. Food options here are basic compared with the larger North Terminal: think coffee stands, grab-and-go coolers, and pre-made sandwiches in the $8–$15 range rather than full-service dining.
If you want lounge-style comfort before a Ravn or other regional flight, you need to pay for a different facility or use status with another airline in the same building. Anchorage has pay-per-use lounges and airline clubs tied to major carriers, but none carry the Era name, and none sit inside a Ravn-only mini-concourse, so plan an extra 5–10 minutes to walk back to your South Terminal gate after visiting them.
Overnight, ANC officially closes most seating areas landside around midnight, though some South Terminal zones near regional counters stay active later when flights run. Sleepinginairports-style camping with eye mask and jacket still happens near the windows by the regional gates, but power outlets are limited and the overhead announcements repeat every 10–15 minutes, so noise-cancelling headphones help.
Bottom line tip: if your confirmation mentions "Era Alaska Lounge" for a South Terminal regional departure at ANC, ignore it and instead budget time to grab food near security, charge devices at the gate, and, if you really want lounge perks, book a day pass to another ANC lounge and build in a 45-minute buffer before boarding.
