Economy Parking

Long stay

5 JD per day gets you into Economy Parking

At Queen Alia International Airport T1, Economy Parking runs at 5 JD per day, making it the budget choice for long trips. This is the official long-stay lot, so you’re on airport property, not in an off-site field. Pay on exit, keep your ticket dry, and take a quick photo of your row so you can find the car after a red-eye back into Amman.

A free shuttle bus links Economy Parking to the T1 terminal every 10 minutes, all day. The ride itself takes about 10 minutes, so build in at least 25–30 minutes from locking your car to reaching check-in. The buses load from marked stops throughout the lot, so walk to the nearest stop instead of waiting in the middle of a row.

This is the long-stay option, so Economy Parking works best once you hit around 2–3 days or more in Amman. For one overnight, you might compare costs with closer short-stay options at T1, but once you cross a long weekend, the flat 5 JD/day rate usually wins. Keep in mind you pay per calendar day, not per 24‑hour block.

There’s no real shade in most sections of Economy Parking, and summer temperatures at AMM easily pass 35°C. If you see a spot near a light pole or building, take it for a bit of relief from direct sun. Consider using a windshield sunshade and avoid leaving electronics or chocolate in the cabin.

Tip: land side at T1, the same shuttle stops used for drop-off handle returns to the lot; follow the “Economy Parking / Long Stay” signs and you’ll usually be back at your car in about 15–20 minutes from walking out of arrivals.
