T2

T2’s Toys shop sits just past security in international departures

This duty free “Toys” outlet in Terminal T2 is in the main international departures zone, so you hit it after passport control and security, not landside. It’s a small, focused stop rather than a giant toy warehouse, so think quick last-minute gifts before boarding, not full-on birthday shopping.

Stock skews toward travel-friendly toys that fit in carry-ons and seat pockets. Expect boxed games, soft toys, basic puzzles, and a few licensed characters rather than big battery-powered sets. Prices sit at typical duty free levels: higher than city shops in Ahmedabad, but acceptable if you’re buying one or two items to keep a kid happy for a 3–6 hour flight.

Payment is straightforward: standard card terminals plus cash in INR, and occasionally foreign cards read better here than at some of the smaller T2 outlets. It’s all post-security, so you don’t lose time re-clearing anything once you’re done. Stock can look a bit repetitive if you walk by twice in one trip, since this is a single-brand corner, not a multi-store toy zone.

Plan your stop so you’re here 20–30 minutes before boarding from T2, not at final call. That gives you time to compare a couple of toys, check for any simple board or card games, and still reach most T2 gates at a normal walking pace.
