Shoppers Stop

T1

Gate-side clothing and gifts before security in T1

Shoppers Stop sits in Terminal T1 at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, in the departures area used by most domestic low-cost carriers. It’s a standard Indian department-store setup: clothing, accessories, some luggage, and last-minute gifts under one roof. Expect familiar national brands rather than airport-only labels, so prices feel closer to city-mall levels than duty-free discounts.

The store usually trades through most of the T1 operating window, roughly from the first morning departures around 05:00 until late-night flights taper off around 23:00. You’ll find everyday wear for men, women, and kids, plus basics like socks, scarves, and umbrellas if Ahmedabad weather catches you out. Sizes and stock lean toward mainstream styles; don’t expect full city-branch depth in every section.

For gifts, look at the accessories racks: wallets and belts in the ₹800–₹1,500 range, costume jewelry under ₹1,000, and soft toys and small bags that tuck easily into cabin baggage. There’s usually at least one promotional rack with marked-down apparel, which can be a better buy than the front displays. Payment works like any mall outlet: UPI, Indian cards, and most major international credit cards are accepted at the single main counter.

Plan about 10–15 minutes if you just need a shirt, belt, or quick gift before a T1 departure; double that if you tend to browse. The practical move: finish check-in and security first, then stop here on the way to your gate so you’re not carrying shopping bags through the T1 landside queue.
