Gate-side reading and snacks in T2

Right in Terminal T2, Relay is the quick stop for last-minute magazines, paperbacks, and basic travel snacks before international departures from Ahmedabad. You’ll see it on the airside concourse after security, so you don’t need to backtrack to the check-in level once you’re through immigration and screening.

Relay in T2 carries English-language newspapers, Indian dailies, and light paperbacks, plus bottled water and packaged snacks that are often cheaper than in-flight buys on many international airlines serving AMD. Expect standard airport pricing: drinks run higher than city shops, but still reasonable compared to onboard menus.

This T2 outlet usually has essentials like neck pillows, basic earphones, and power banks, which can save you if your airline seats only have USB-A ports or if your cable dies at the gate. You’ll also find simple stationery and a few kids’ activity books, handy before long-haul overnight departures to the Middle East or Europe.

Stock turns over based on flight waves in T2, so you might see shelves thinned out just before the late-night international bank of departures around 1:00–4:00 a.m. If you care about a specific newspaper or snack brand, stop at Relay soon after you clear T2 security rather than waiting until boarding starts.
