Fabindia

T1

Opposite the main T1 security lanes, Fabindia is your Indian-wear stop

This Fabindia in Terminal T1 sits airside near the domestic departure gates, so you can duck in after security without detouring to landside shops. It’s a focused store: men’s and women’s kurtas, kids’ pieces, dupattas, plus home textiles and small gifts, all in the familiar Fabindia natural-fabric look. Expect stitched kurtas starting in the ₹1,200–₹1,800 range, with some handwoven options running higher.

Stock leans to airport-friendly buys: lightweight cotton kurtas that pack flat, a few silk or silk-blend pieces for weddings, and smaller items like stoles, scarves, and cushion covers. Sizing is standard Fabindia (usually XS–XXL), but not every size is available in every design, so if you see a kurta you like in your size, don’t plan on coming back later from gate 1A or 1B and finding it again.

Pricing follows regular city-store tags, not duty-free, so you’re paying standard Fabindia MRPs, often ₹499–₹999 for accessories like scarves, stoles, and small textile gifts. That said, it’s still cheaper and better quality than many generic souvenir stands in T1. Card and UPI work fine here, which helps if you’re trying to burn the last few hundred rupees before boarding a domestic Indigo or Air India flight.

One practical tip: if you’re tight on time, head straight to the scarf and dupatta racks near the entrance and keep your spend under 10 minutes; T1 boarding calls can feel early, and it’s a 3–5 minute walk back to some of the outer domestic gates.
