Almost no one online talks about Aleppo Bar at ALP.

Terminal 1 has very little documented food info, but Aleppo Bar is listed airside, post-security, and runs roughly 10:00 to 23:00. Figure on mid-range airport pricing ($$), so think sit-down café numbers, not street prices in the city. Until more trip reports show up, treat this as the main on-site option if you want something more relaxed than the gate seating.

This is tagged as a local-style lounge bar inside Terminal 1, so expect a small alcohol list, soft drinks, and basic snacks rather than a full restaurant menu. With no reliable reviews, assume standard mixed drinks and coffee, and don’t expect premium spirits unless you can see the bottles on the shelf. If you care about brands or mixer types, ask before you order and watch drinks being poured.

The menu reportedly includes a Signature Aleppo Cocktail; that’s the one thing worth targeting if you stop here. Since there’s no consensus on ingredients or size, start with a single glass and see how it goes before ordering a second round. For food, default to items that look freshly prepared in front of you, and skip anything that’s been sitting pre-plated for more than 15–20 minutes under a warmer.

Service pace at smaller Syrian airports can vary a lot by flight wave, especially with several departures bunched in the same 60–90 minute window. With Aleppo Bar open from late morning to late evening, it’s realistically a place to kill 30–40 minutes, not to risk a tight turn. Order and pay in one go so you can walk away quickly if boarding for your flight from Terminal 1 is called earlier than expected.

Tip: Sit where you can see a departure screen for Terminal 1 and keep your boarding pass handy; some gates at ALP start calling passengers more than 40 minutes before departure.
