Valet parking isn’t actually offered at Alta Airport T
At Alta Airport (ALF), there is no official Valet Parking product at terminal T, despite some booking sites listing the name. Drivers self-park in the standard short-term and long-term lots directly next to the terminal building, then walk the remaining 1–3 minutes to the check-in area.
The short-term zone sits directly in front of the terminal entrance at T and is marked for quick stays of a few hours. It mainly suits drop-offs and pick-ups rather than leaving your car for a full day, since pricing in these closest rows is typically set higher than in the outer long-term sections.
For trips of more than 24 hours, locals use the long-term spaces along the same access road that serves the terminal at ALF. These rows run parallel to the terminal and keep walking distance under about 3 minutes for the farthest spots, so the time savings from a theoretical valet handoff would be minimal in this compact layout.
Because no staffed Valet Parking counter exists inside T, there’s no key handover, no car return lane, and no posted daily valet rate on the airport’s Norwegian and English information pages. Any website selling “Valet Parking” at Alta is effectively reselling standard on-airport self-parking in the two signed zones by the terminal.
Tip: Ignore “Valet Parking” labels in search results for ALF and instead budget an extra 5 minutes to self-park in the signed short- or long-term areas by terminal T, then walk straight into check-in.
