Aiken Aviation Enterprises operates the FBO services in this terminal, handling everything from piston trainers to corporate jets on the field’s 5,500‑foot primary runway 7/25.

Inside the Main terminal you’ll find a small pilot lounge and waiting area with basic seating, and traffic often ties to the on‑site flight schools and local corporate operators based at KAIK.

There is no TSA checkpoint anywhere in the Main terminal, since all traffic is general aviation and handled under private or charter rules instead of Part 121 airline ops.

You won’t find any restaurants, bars, or coffee chains inside the building, so plan to eat in Aiken proper or bring food and drinks with you for pre‑flight or post‑flight time.

There are no dedicated lounges or airline clubs here, so the standard FBO seating doubles as the only waiting area for both transient pilots and passengers.

The Main terminal has no retail shops, so you can’t buy charts, headsets, or last‑minute toiletries on site; pilots often order supplies online ahead of time or pick them up at larger airports.

The airport’s published CTAF/UNICOM frequency of 122.975 ties directly into operations at the Main terminal, so inbound traffic usually coordinates parking and fuel with that team before landing.

If you’re meeting a flight student or corporate passenger, plan to pull up directly in front of the Main terminal door on Piper Road and confirm with them whether they’re parking on the same side of the field before you drive out.
