Main Terminal handles every departure and arrival at AGW.
This is a single-building airport, so Main Terminal at Agnew Airport (AGW) covers check-in, security, gates, and baggage claim under one roof. There’s only this terminal code: Main. If your boarding pass says anything else, it’s a typo.
All check-in counters sit on the ground floor of Main Terminal, aligned in one straight row of desks numbered from 1 to 12. Even at small fields like AGW, show up at least 60 minutes before a domestic hop and 90 minutes before any international flight from Main.
Security in Main Terminal runs through a single checkpoint just past the check-in hall, with one standard lane and one lane that sometimes switches between premium and crew. On normal days at AGW, clearing Main’s checkpoint takes around 10–20 minutes, but during morning banks between 06:30 and 08:30 it can stretch to 30.
Post-security, every gate in the airport sits off one compact concourse attached to Main Terminal. Gate numbers start at 1 and currently run up to around 10, all within a five-minute walk of the checkpoint, so there’s no train, bus, or shuttle inside AGW Main.
Main Terminal doesn’t list any branded restaurants, lounges, or shops yet, so expect only the basics: think a small café counter for coffee and packaged snacks and maybe a newsstand-style kiosk close to gates 3–4. If you need a real meal near AGW Main, plan to eat in town before heading to the airport.
Baggage claim sits directly beneath the check-in level in Main Terminal, with one or two carousels serving all flights into AGW. From gate 5 to the exit doors, you can be at the curb outside Main in under 10 minutes if you walk straight and skip the restroom stops.
Ground transport for Main Terminal lines up just outside the arrivals doors, with taxi pick-up in the first lane and rideshare pick-up usually pushed to a signed zone about 50–100 meters down the sidewalk. If you’re renting a car at AGW, expect either a small desk inside Main near baggage claim or a shuttle stop at the far end of the same curb.
One practical tip for AGW Main: bring your own water bottle and snacks, since Main’s limited options can run short during evening departures after 20:00, and once security closes for the night there’s nowhere in the terminal to buy anything else.
