Private and charter only: Million Air Alexandria sits on the GA ramp

Million Air Alexandria operates on the general aviation side of Alexandria International Airport (AEX), serving corporate, charter, and private aircraft rather than regular airline flights from the Main Terminal. It functions as an FBO lounge attached to the Million Air facility at KAEX, with access controlled through the operator, not the airline check-in counters. If you are flying Delta, American, or any other scheduled carrier from the passenger terminal, you will not see a sign for this lounge near your gate.

The building sits off the commercial terminal loop on the north side of the airfield, accessed via the FBO entrance rather than the TSA checkpoint in the Main Terminal. Million Air Alexandria operates as a full-service FBO with line services, crew amenities, and passenger waiting areas adjacent to the ramp where general aviation aircraft park. Pilots and passengers typically enter through the front lobby, then walk directly to their aircraft on the tarmac once the crew calls them.

This is not a Priority Pass, airline club, or walk-up day lounge, and no public day pass pricing is listed on Million Air’s Alexandria page as of 2024. Access runs through the flight department or charter operator managing your trip, who pays Million Air’s handling and facility fees directly. If you are booked on a private charter out of KAEX, your confirmation usually specifies Million Air as the departure FBO, along with show time and tail number.

Inside, Million Air locations typically offer seating areas, coffee and basic snacks, restrooms, and crew workspaces, with Alexandria following the same template based on FBO network standards published on millionair.com in 2024. The lounge connects directly to ramp access doors used by both passengers and crew. Some operators also arrange catering through the FBO so food arrives pre-loaded to the aircraft rather than being served in the lounge itself.

Because Million Air Alexandria sits away from the Main Terminal and TSA checkpoint, you cannot realistically “pop over” from a commercial gate like those used by Delta and American at AEX. If an assistant or broker asks which side of the airport you want, specify “Million Air at AEX” if you are meeting a charter there, and “Main Terminal” if you are catching a regular airline flight. That one detail avoids showing up at the wrong building on opposite sides of the field.
