Farmacity Express

Near the main gates at AEP, Farmacity Express is your grab-and-go pharmacy stop.

This small Farmacity Express inside Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP) works like a compressed city branch: basic meds, toiletries, and last-minute travel items at roughly standard Buenos Aires prices. You’ll find painkillers, cold medicine, bandages, toothbrushes, and travel-size shampoo in clearly marked sections. It’s past security in the departures area, so you can pick up what you need after check-in but before boarding.

Most items sit in the ARS 1,000–5,000 range, so it’s reasonable by airport standards, especially for essentials like sunscreen and deodorant. Shelves usually include Argentine brands plus a few international labels. You can grab tissues, hand sanitizer, lip balm, and basic cosmetics along with snacks like candy or bottled water if the nearby cafés have a line. Staff generally ring you up in under 5 minutes unless a flight just dumped a crowd into departures.

Payment is straightforward: they accept Argentine pesos by card, and many cards process contactless with no issue. This is useful if you just landed on a domestic flight and haven’t hit an ATM yet. Don’t expect full supermarket inventory; this is a smaller “Express” format with limited over-the-counter selection and almost no specialty health products.

Tip: If you need meds or toiletries, stop at Farmacity Express right after security at AEP, before you get stuck in a boarding queue with no time to backtrack.
