100 metres from T1, this is ADL’s true drop-and-go
Meet & Greet Parking sits about 100 metres from Adelaide Airport’s T1 terminal, so you’re on the forecourt in roughly a 2‑minute walk. It’s set up as short-stay parking, best for pickups, drop-offs, and quick trips where you care more about time than day-rate savings.
This is a face-to-face handover, not a shuttle lot. You drive straight to the Meet & Greet area near T1, pass the keys to staff, and walk the 2 minutes to check-in. No bus, no hunting for a bay, and no dragging bags across half the car park. It’s the closest you’ll get to kerbside without stopping in the terminal drop-off lane.
Meet & Greet at ADL is pitched for short stays rather than long holidays, so compare it against the terminal car park if you’re looking at more than a couple of days. The trade-off: higher per-day cost, more time saved. For a 24–48 hour work trip out of T1, the 2‑minute walk and skip-the-search parking can be worth more than the difference to the standard multi-storey.
You’re post-road but pre-terminal here, so security rules and terminal access are the same as if you’d been dropped at the T1 departures kerb. Figure 5–10 minutes from locking the car with staff to joining a check-in queue, including the 2‑minute walk and any lift/escalator time into the departures level.
Tip: If you’re meeting an arriving flight at T1 and expect bags on the belt within 15–20 minutes, park in Meet & Greet, walk the 100 metres to arrivals, and you’ll still beat most street-park-and-walk options on both time and hassle.
