30 seconds from T1 check-in, tops

Meet and Greet Parking sits just steps from Adelaide T1, so you’re out of the car and at the check-in desks in roughly a minute. It’s a short-stay setup, best for trips of a few hours up to a couple of days, not long holidays. If you’re dropping someone for a 06:00 departure or scooping up a late arrival after 22:00, the walk is the same quick, flat path into the terminal.

This is a true handover service, not DIY parking. You pull up at the Meet and Greet bay near the T1 forecourt, pass the keys to staff, and they park the car in the secure area while you head straight inside. On return, they bring the car back to the same drop-off point, so you’re driving away a few minutes after grabbing your bags from the T1 belt.

Meet and Greet Parking works best as an upgrade over the regular short-stay car park when time is tight. Being steps from the terminal means less faffing with tickets, pay stations or hunting for a space when check-in closes 45 minutes before departure. Prices usually sit above standard short-stay rates, but you’re paying for the staff handling and the near-door handoff right outside T1.

Bookings typically run by the calendar day or by the hour, so a 3–4 hour wait for an incoming flight can be cheaper than a full day away in a taxi, especially if you’re carrying bulky luggage. If your return flight into Adelaide is prone to delays, allow some buffer in the booked pick-up time or check the operator’s grace period so you’re not stressing at the carousel.

Practical tip: pre-book online and keep your confirmation handy; it speeds up the handover at the T1 forecourt and avoids walk-up rate surprises.
