Second-floor bar upstairs from security is ACY’s de facto pub
The Beach House Bar & Grill sits on the second floor of the Terminal, above the smaller grab-and-go spots, and functions as Atlantic City’s main sit-down airport bar. It’s one of the few places here with actual tables, servers, and a full bar, so locals and casino regulars treat it like their pre-flight hangout rather than a quick snack counter.
Everything is post-security in this single-terminal airport, so you can walk to The Beach House from any gate in under 5 minutes. Figure $$ pricing: mixed drinks and burgers are repeatedly called out as “way overpriced,” especially considering the 2.5-star overall rating. If you want a real meal instead of a wrapped sandwich, this is still the main option.
The menu runs standard bar-and-grill: burgers, wings, sandwiches, fries. Portions get decent marks compared with the fridges downstairs, so a burger and fries can realistically carry you through a 2–3 hour Spirit run to Florida. Food quality sits in the “it’ll do” range, not something you plan a trip around.
Drinks are the stronger play: reviewers mention full bar service with beer and mixed drinks, and more than one person says pours are strong “for airport standards.” Just be ready for sticker shock on cocktails; think big-city prices in a small building near Egg Harbor Township.
Watch out for timing. When a bank of Spirit flights is leaving, staff can be down to a single bartender, and people report waiting 20–30 minutes to order or close a tab. Several regulars say they budget at least 45 minutes if they plan to eat and get a drink here before boarding.
Quick tip: after you clear security, head straight upstairs, grab a table, and tell the server your boarding time when you sit down so they pace food and checks around your flight.
