Short-Term Parking

Short stay

$2 for the first hour buys you the closest spot to ACY’s terminal

Short-Term Parking at Atlantic City International Airport sits directly next to the Terminal, so you walk a couple of minutes from car to check-in with no shuttle and no skybridge maze. It’s the priciest walkable option on the field at $22 per day, but it’s built for short stays where time matters more than saving a few dollars. One airport review video called the whole ACY parking setup “super easy,” and this lot is the definition of pull in, park, walk inside.

Rates start at $2 for the first hour, then $1 for each additional hour up to four hours, when the $22 daily max kicks in. That pricing makes Short-Term a good fit for pick-ups, drop-offs that might stretch past TSA lines, or quick day trips. Every ACY lot, including this one, runs 24/7 and stays within walking distance of the terminal, so there’s no waiting around for buses or vans.

All ACY parking, Short-Term included, went fully cashless on January 1, 2024, so you’ll need a card, mobile pay, or EZPass Plus at exit. Regulars who park here often use EZPass Plus to roll straight out without stopping at a machine. If you’re not racing the clock, those same regulars usually slide over to the Economy lot or the Garage to avoid paying the airport’s highest daily walk-up rate.

The main complaint you see about Short-Term is simple: price, not operations. There are no shuttle issues because there is no shuttle, and walking from this lot to the Terminal doors takes only a few minutes on foot. Practical tip: if your errand at ACY might creep past the 60-minute mark, pull into Short-Term anyway, watch the $2 + $1/hour meter, and treat the $22 cap as the point where you should have picked Economy instead.
