Post-security T2 arrivals tea stand for a quick fix
This small kiosk in the T2 arrival hall sits just past baggage claim, before you exit to the curb. Signage is basic in Chinese, and you’ll usually see one staff member behind the counter. It runs on airport operating hours, roughly aligning with the first and last flights of the day at ACX, so don’t count on it late at night after the final evening arrivals.
Prices sit in the 10–25 RMB range for hot tea, bottled drinks, and a few pre-packaged snacks. Expect simple green or black tea, canned soft drinks, and maybe instant coffee packets rather than a full espresso setup. Seating is limited to a couple of shared benches nearby, not dedicated tables, so think “grab-and-go” more than “sit-down cafe.”
The official rating hovers around 3 out of 5, which matches what you see on the ground: nothing fancy, nothing terrible. Tea comes in basic paper cups, and you’ll likely wait 2–5 minutes while they steep a fresh pot. There’s no clear menu in English posted, but pointing at the 绿茶 (green tea) or 红茶 (black tea) labels usually works fine, and you can pay with cash or local mobile apps like WeChat Pay.
Food-wise, assume packaged only: small bags of chips, instant noodles, and maybe some cookies in the 5–15 RMB band. Don’t plan on a real meal here before a long drive into Xingyi city; it’s more of a stop-gap until you reach restaurants about 12–20 km away. If you need bottled water for the ride, this is your last easy spot inside the terminal before you walk out to taxis and buses.
Tip: If your flight lands around typical lunch or dinner times (11:00–13:00 or 18:00–20:00), grab a drink and water here in under 10 minutes, then eat properly in town instead of hanging around the stand.
