Short-Term Parking

On-site 2-hour

2-hour limit sits closest to Waco’s Main Terminal doors

Short-Term Parking at Waco Regional Airport sits directly in front of the Main Terminal, so you’re a 1–3 minute walk from the check-in counters and TSA. This lot is set up for quick drop-offs, pickups, and short visits of up to around two hours, not for leaving your car all day.

Signs at Short-Term Parking clearly mark the 2-hour time limit, which is the main difference from the adjacent long-term areas. Layout is simple: one drive in from the terminal access road, rows of spaces facing the Main Terminal entrance, and pedestrian walkways that keep you out of traffic when you roll a bag to the doors.

Waco Regional is a single-building Main Terminal operation, so Short-Term Parking covers all departures and arrivals from any gate in that building. There’s no shuttle system here; with such a small footprint, you walk from your car straight to the terminal and skip waiting for buses entirely.

Rates for Short-Term Parking are usually higher per hour than the long-term lot, but the first hour often works out cheaper than paying for a full day elsewhere on the field. This makes the 2-hour lot practical for quick drop-offs, meeting an arriving flight, or walking in to help with check-in and still keeping your parking line item small.

If you expect your stop to push past the 2-hour window, park in the long-term area instead; the Short-Term Parking rules are actively posted and staying beyond the limit risks a ticket or higher fees. Quick tip: before you lock up, set a timer on your phone for 90 minutes so you have a buffer to get back to the car without cutting the 2-hour mark close.
