ACK’s Rectrix Aviation sits on the FBO side, not Terminal 1

Rectrix Aviation at Nantucket Memorial Airport operates as an FBO, handling private and charter traffic on the GA ramp, not as a walk-up lounge for Terminal 1 commercial flights. If your boarding pass shows Cape Air, JetBlue, Delta, United, or American out of the main building, this space is not part of your normal gate-area options.

There are no posted public hours, no day-pass pricing, and no Priority Pass, DragonPass, or airline status access tied to Rectrix at ACK. Access typically runs through the FBO side of the field and is arranged by the operator of a private/charter flight, not by buying a quick $40–$60 pass like you might at a third‑party lounge in a larger airport.

Inside a standard Rectrix FBO setup at similar airports, you usually see a small seating area, coffee and soft drinks, and basic snacks like packaged cookies or chips, plus restrooms separate from the main terminal. Nothing online points to any hot buffet, full bar menu, or shower suites at the ACK location, and there’s no published menu with specific items or prices.

Because Rectrix sits away from Terminal 1’s commercial check-in desks and TSA, using it would require ramp-side transport or an airside handoff coordinated with a charter operator. There is no sign that you can just walk from the single ACK terminal, cross the public parking lot, and check in at Rectrix with only an economy ticket and a credit card.

Blogs and FlyerTalk threads that list pay-per-use lounges at small New England airports do not include Rectrix ACK, and loungerreview-style directories only tag it as an FBO. No one posts drink lists, opening times (like 05:00–22:00), or day-pass codes, which is usually the tell that regular commercial passengers are not the target here.

If your trip uses a private or charter flight, ask your operator specifically, in writing, if Rectrix ACK is in play and what’s included in their handling fee. If you’re on a normal commercial ticket out of Terminal 1, plan as if there is no lounge access at ACK and bring what you need food-wise from town before you hit airport security.
