Terminal T2 hosts 2 airlines.
Most inter-island flights at ACE still go from compact Terminal T2
Terminal T2 at César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport handles the small-scale, mostly inter-island traffic, while almost all holiday and mainland flights run from the larger T1 next door. You mainly see Binter Canarias and Armas here, operating short hops within the Canary Islands rather than longer routes to Spain or Europe.
The building sits directly beside T1 on the north side of the airfield, so walking between the two terminals only takes a few minutes on the public side. Check your booking carefully before you arrive at ACE, because Binter Canarias departures can show either T1 or T2 on itineraries, and you do not want to be in the wrong building when boarding starts.
T2 is a small, older-style hall with straightforward landside access and a short walk from check-in to the single security checkpoint. With only Binter Canarias and Armas operating, queues usually move quickly compared with the main terminal, but at first wave times around 07:00–09:00 it still makes sense to be at the counter at least 60 minutes before departure.
Once you pass security, the departures area feels barebones, with no catalogued restaurants, branded cafés, or full shops listed for this terminal. Expect vending machines or small kiosks at best, and plan to buy food or coffee in T1 or before reaching the airport rather than counting on options inside T2.
There are no official lounges in T2, so Priority Pass and airline status do not change the waiting experience here. Seating is around the gates themselves, and on these short Canary island hops with Binter Canarias or Armas, boarding usually starts around 20–30 minutes before departure and often goes by bus to the aircraft.
Arrivals into T2 are simple, with passengers coming off the Binter Canarias or Armas turboprops and walking directly into a small baggage claim area. Checked bags on these inter-island routes often appear within 10–15 minutes, helped by the light traffic compared with the charter and low-cost arrivals unloading into T1.
No airside retail is catalogued for T2, so you will not find the duty free or larger fashion and souvenir shops that sit in T1. If you want typical Canary Islands items, from aloe products to local wine, you need to pick them up in T1’s shopping area before walking over, or in town before heading to the airport.
One practical move: if your ticket shows a Binter Canarias or Armas connection from a mainland or European flight, build a 45–60 minute buffer to walk from T1 to T2, check any through-checked bag status, and clear the smaller security point without rushing.
