Five-minute walk from Terminal 1 check-in, tops

Estacionamiento Corta Estancia at ACA basically sits right off the Terminal 1 curb, in front of the compact check-in area that most guides describe as a quick walk from drop-off to counters. It’s short-stay in name, but locals mostly treat it as a staging zone for drop-offs and pick-ups, not a place to leave the car for half a day.

This is a short stay lot, so think in terms of minutes and maybe an hour or two, not all-day parking. Official price boards and maximum time limits aren’t consistently published, and recent flyers on Mexico forums say they rarely see tourists actually parking here for long spells. If you need reliable daily or multi-day rates, plan on arranging something in town instead of guessing at the curb.

Airport writeups call General Juan N. Álvarez International a single-building field, with the curb only a short walk from security for Terminal 1 and domestic operations, and Terminal 2 handling extra or charter traffic. That layout means even if you use Corta Estancia briefly, you’re still just a few minutes from the check-in desks and don’t need a shuttle or golf cart.

Regulars on transfer threads say they coordinate curbside: the driver waits off-site, times the approach, and uses the curb or a very quick loop through Corta Estancia rather than paying to sit inside the lot. That pattern works well at ACA because traffic volumes are lighter than at big hubs and the terminal frontage is short.

Practical tip: if you’re being picked up, message your driver only after you have bags in hand, then walk straight out to the Terminal 1 curb instead of having them park in Estacionamiento Corta Estancia.
