Priority Pass lists Gabfol Lounge, but almost nobody reviews it
Gabfol Lounge sits in the International Terminal at Nnamdi Azikiwe (ABV), tied into Priority Pass but with almost no real-world intel from frequent flyers. It runs daily from 07:00 to 23:00, so it covers all but the very latest departures out of Abuja. Access is through the international side only, so this won’t help for domestic flights out of T1 or T2.
The key hard fact: Priority Pass confirms Gabfol as the network lounge for the International Terminal, and lists standard access rules under its scheme. That means if your card or bank product includes Priority Pass, you should be able to walk in without paying the usual door fee, which in similar Nigerian lounges often lands around the equivalent of US$25–35 for pay-per-use guests. Always check your specific card’s visit limits before you scan in.
With operating hours from 07:00, Gabfol can work for morning departures to hubs like Addis or Cairo, and the 23:00 close time usually lines up with late-night regional and European flights. If your flight leaves after 23:00, don’t bank on a last-minute stop here; assume they shut on time and plan your pre-flight meal in the main terminal instead.
The exact gate cluster isn’t listed, but Gabfol is confirmed as post-security in the International Terminal, which matters at ABV where the immigration and security process can chew up 30–60 minutes on busy days. Clear formalities first, then look for Priority Pass signage pointing to the lounge; walking back and forth through immigration isn’t realistic once stamped out.
With no credible reports on food, drinks, or showers, set expectations at the “quiet seats and basic refreshments” level rather than a full-service premium lounge. Power outlets in Nigerian lounges can be hit-or-miss, so pack a fully charged power bank and a Type D/G adapter to avoid hunting for one working socket right before a 6–8 hour overnight flight.
Practical tip: on arrival at the International Terminal, time your check-in and exit formalities so you’re airside at least 90 minutes before departure, then try Gabfol. If it’s overcrowded or underwhelming, you still have time to head back to the general seating near your gate.
