All official ABI parking is self-park, not true valet

Abilene Regional’s own site only lists automated surface parking by the Main Terminal, with daily rates posted at $12.00, and no staffed valet stand or key drop anywhere on the map.

Some third-party booking sites label an option as “Valet Parking,” but ABI’s parking page describes a single at-terminal lot with ticket machines at entry and exit, and no mention of attendants taking keys or moving cars for you.

The lot sits directly next to the Main Terminal doors, so the walk from most regular spaces to the check-in counters is usually under 2 minutes, which makes a separate curbside valet service largely unnecessary for this small field.

Parking operates on an automated system: you pull a ticket at the gate, keep it with you, and pay at the machine when leaving, and published daily pricing tops out at $12.00 for a 24‑hour period.

Curbside rules are strict at ABI: loading and unloading in front of the Main Terminal is allowed only when a driver stays with the car, and airport policy calls for unattended vehicles at the curb to be ticketed and towed, which undercuts any informal valet-style handoff.

If you see “Valet Parking” marketed for Abilene Regional at $12.00 per day, assume it is just regular on-airport self-park next to the terminal, and plan to park your own car and keep your keys.

Practical tip: Build a small buffer at peak morning bank times, but for most ABI departures, budgeting an extra 10–15 minutes for parking, walking in, and paying the automated machine is usually enough.
