Duty Free

Main

Main Terminal’s only Duty Free opens for ABC departures.

This Duty Free Shop sits airside in the Main Terminal at Albacete Airport (ABC), right after the single security checkpoint that serves all departures. The space is small, and you’ll walk through it on the way to the gates, so there’s no need to detour or backtrack.

Alcohol and tobacco are the focus: expect standard Spanish spirits, a few regional wines from Castilla–La Mancha, and carton tobacco at tax-free pricing compared with downtown Albacete. Stock runs basic rather than boutique, so think big brands instead of rare bottles or limited editions. Prices beat most city supermarkets on spirits by a noticeable margin, especially on 1‑liter formats.

Non-alcohol items cover the usual duty free mix: chocolates, packaged sweets, travel-sized toiletries, and a small stand of fragrances. Don’t expect a full perfume hall; the range is tight and skews to mainstream labels. Snacks lean toward boxed chocolates and sealed items that travel well in cabin bags; there’s little in the way of fresh food or substantial takeaway.

Because ABC handles limited daily flights, the Duty Free Shop typically opens in sync with the day’s scheduled departures and may close once the last flight boards. If you want liquor or tobacco, buy before you sit down in the boarding area; staff sometimes start tidying and closing shutters as soon as final calls are announced.
