Accessible Parking

Marked accessible bays sit next to Asaba’s Terminal 1

Accessible Parking at Asaba International Airport (ABB) keeps designated disabled spaces right next to the main terminal, so the walk stays around 5 minutes on level ground. If you use a wheelchair, cane, or have limited mobility, this is the closest official car park to check-in at Terminal 1.

Pricing runs a flat $15.00 per day, which makes the math simple for short trips or medical flights in and out of Asaba. For longer stays, the weekly rate drops to $100.00, so after day 7 you’re paying less than the $15.00 daily cap.

The car park sits directly beside Terminal 1, so there’s no shuttle bus, no extra loading step, and no lift to hunt for. You park in a marked accessible bay, unload, then follow the signed path straight into the terminal doors for check-in and security.

Because this is a dedicated accessible area, only vehicles with valid disability permits should use these spaces, and airport staff in front of Terminal 1 do walk the rows. If you have a ramp van or need extra door clearance, arrive at least 15–20 minutes earlier so you can pick a wider spot along the edge of a row.

Tip: bring a printed copy or photo of your disability placard and keep it on the dashboard with your contact number; it can speed things up if airport security needs to reach you while you’re parked at Accessible Parking at ABB.
