Convenience Store

Gate-side grab-and-go inside T1

This small Convenience Store sits airside in Terminal 1 at Al Ain International Airport, so you reach it after security and passport control. It’s the only general shop in T1, covering last‑minute snacks, drinks, and basic travel supplies in one stop. Expect a compact space rather than a full supermarket, but it hits the basics before regional flights out of AAN.

Hours roughly mirror the flight bank in T1, with the store usually open from around the first departures until the last evening services. Stock leans toward packaged chips, chocolate bars, biscuits, and soft drinks, with bottled water often the fastest seller. Prices run higher than in town, but still reasonable for a small UAE airport, so it’s fine for topping up on a 500 ml water or a quick sweet fix before boarding.

You’ll also find simple travel items on the shelves: phone charging cables, basic headphones, power adapters, tissues, and a few over‑the‑counter essentials like painkillers and lozenges. If you forgot a toothbrush or a razor, this is the one place in T1 likely to have it. Selection isn’t deep, so don’t expect every brand, but you can usually patch any small packing mistake here.

Tip: buy water and snacks here before heading to your gate, as options get thinner the closer you are to boarding, especially late at night in Terminal 1.
